New as in few posts, I guess. Been around here snooping for a while, though.
The slide show was found on Youtube! We don't even know who made it!
We are working on a presentation of all cars that were there.
My friend George took 315 photos and is putting together a photoshow for everyone.
I will post it as soon as it's done.
    Total cars registered were 187!

That sounds like a great idea. No offense to the Mustang II guys, but those cars and our cars are just so wildly different...

Usually, those two cars would never share a class. The reason they did was because there has only been one II to show up for the last 3 years.
This year two of them did, and 4 four eye cars did (5 if you count Rob, but he shows in the Police class).
Next year, I am sure we will go back to the '74-'78 category and the '79-86 category.
But, like we always tell people, if you want a class in paticular, contact us about sponsoring it.
OR PRE-REGISTER your car! If we knew who was coming, we would have split it before the show.

I would love to see this turn into a kick off point for the Four Eyed Forum guys! Maybe the show during the day, and a Pizza Feast after?
    That would be fun!
And I will have the '84 WSP car on the road by then!

Meneep, since you are in a position to know, what do you think the odds are that we can keep the Capri's with the Mustang in a "Four-Eyed" Class rather than putting the Capri's somewhere else. As you can see, we certainly consider ourselves "one big family" and we did have two Capri's parked with the Mustangs this year. However, I know there was some debate about splitting them up. I would hate to do that, but I can see where some purists outside of the Four-Eyed community would have a problem with it.

Having the 79 to 86 Capri in with the mustangs is a delicate subject. The mustang owners understand that the Capri IS a sister ship, but the show IS about Mustangs, and the Capri's crash their party, and the votes are cast by the attendees, and they are in not in the mindset to cast a vote for a "Capri" at a Muatang show. It is something us Capri owners have learned to live with, I think. Worthy of further discusson at your board meetings.

I just found the slide show on YouTube. I was disappointed there was not a shot of Four Eye there. In fact, there wasn't anything except S197's, SN95's, and the old stuff (I think I saw one Cobra in there). But I am not totally surprised by this.

But that's okay...That just means I'm going to have to shine mine up even more and next time we just need to get a WHOLE MESS of Four-Eyes there to truly represent the growing popularity of the cars. Then they'll have no choice but to put us in the slide show!

I am actually the guy that made the call to put the Capris with the four eyed Mustangs to start with.
I will do my best to keep it that way in the future, too.
I think that these cars are too close a kinship to seperate.

Trust me, when George gets done with his photoshow, there will be plenty of four eyes to see!

And next year, please pre register! I can do a way better job of planning if I have an idea of what is coming!

So what do you guys think?
A category for 'Four Eyed Foxes'?
That would include all Capris, Mustangs, and even LTDs other four eyed cars?
Cheap to sponsor, could even advertise FEF?

I think that's a fine idea. I think it would do well to bring attention to this generation of cars to a group of people who may otherwise have forgotten them amongst the Cobra's and Saleen's and Rouches and the like. And you're right; I will definitely will pre-register...

BTW...I'm finally attaching the lone pic that Neil took of my ugly mug and my hardware...

    Well Neil,
    What do you think?

I will still have a car for this category (unless I display with the police vehicles) But, I sold the GT 350 to someone that was at our show and saw it.

I think a group for 4 eye foxes would be fine. I did not mind the drive down, was nice. My goal with the BBQ is to give the 4 eye cars their proper exposure at the present, and as some owners discover what they have, and fix them up, they will start showing up at more shows, and will need their own group. As a side note, did you get the person that bought your 350 to commit to the 09 BBQ??? Gonna have 2 full rows of cars next year.

Here's a thought, Neil how about making next years BBQ the day before that car show (if its a sunday?) and we could crash it with all the 4 eye's who stay around for it.
