Same. Appears to be a chrome browser issue. Clearing catche & all the normal stuff doesn’t seem to do any good.

Might even be a security thing. I've done all of the normal stuff to clear things out, to no avail. I use Chrome at home though, without issue.

It seems like there are enough members here who want this forum to stay open. Seems like a solution should be pretty easy to implement?

I think my shortcut was to the New Posts page... I think. I changed it to the main forum page and it's worked ever since.

If you're using httpS, use http instead. If your browser is forcing httpS, turn it off for this site.

That fixed the FEP site load problem that showed up Christmas Eve for some reason.
One little letter controlling dur working or not.
Reminds of the time when was trying to get a new IDE Panasonic 5 disk changer to go.
One extra . in a DOS command line was the problem. After being checked over and over and over.
Took weeks to spot that. Was a big memorable find.
So was how to change the default DOS command prompt window font and colors to a custom configuration.
PC communications and code is a vast area of knowledge to learn. Harder for me to grasp than getting hardware to work with software.

The posted 'S' solution was a gift. Thank yu. By far is the better one of two, other 'gift' being from MS.
Have MS updates turned off but they sneak in anyway and mess with things without asking and are told not to do so.
Noticed recent subtile system changes that are not related to browser FEP site type adjustments.
Many changes or option settings explain what they are- if a basic pc user understands the wording or language.
Holiday ether again stirring up within the pc world.

I'm also very glad to see the site back up and running at least for desktop use. Any word on when it will be fixed for android mobile?
