Can help a bit.
Many versions of the 5200 carb. Also known as 6500, 5210, 5220.
Very hard to find later 80's versions.
Ford used the 5200 and 6500 series.
Different apps have different internal calibrations.
Turbocharged 2.3 have a 5200 calibrated richer than n/a, as are A/C versions. All capable of 20 mpg+.
A pic of one:

May be a close match but add additional charge for no core. Has no air cleaner studs.
Note carb throttle linkage connection. Must have correct one.
Am assuming the correct accel cable and bracket are intact. The throttle cable end snaps onto the carb linkage ball.
Fuel connection location is standard on all versions.
Vac connections can be figured out. Some are common, others may be trial and error.
We did a lot of work posting here getting the M81 McLaren car back on the road.
Holley still offers Service Guide #11 p/n 36-70 for the small carbs.
Beware of sellers on ebay that are selling carbs missing parts or are too dirty to ever work right.
A 1980 5200 carb should bolt to the manifold and, if a Ford carb, will have the correct linkage arm.
Will need carb studs and nuts if they are missing of course.
Cost will vary upon how lucky one is coming across a good one. Which will cost several hundred on the average.
Electric choke is usually used on the 80's carbs. 70's carbs used water heated chokes.
The engine will start, run, drive without either type by keeping engine alive until warm and steady idle happens.
Have bought carbs on ebay, pic-a-part yards, chain parts stores. A needle in a haystack.
New ones have not been made for years.
Will help with more info as time goes on if possible.
Getting pics off an Android smartphone to a Windows 10 PC is plug and play. Shows up as another drive.
A laptop with later Windows OS should work too.
Getting that procedure to function will help a lot solving the puzzle.
Not a dead end, but is a long dark road ahead with no roadmap yet or clear picture of what is what.
Another thought is the trunk carb would possibly work with a manifold adapter and if throttle connection is correct.
