Did my usual Sat only trip to Carlisle. Pictures of most of the 4-eyed cars have already been posted by Esco, Evil, etc. Here are some additional photos that I took (since nobody loves 4-cyl cars

I love the pictures alot espically the t birds and oh boy that white SVO is beautiful. How on earth is that a twin cam SVO. I hear they are using the VOLVO heads alot lately

Yes, this is a "Folvo" conversion. It's been for sale on and off for a while....

All in all it was a pretty good weekend. Nice seeing everyone, the weather was reasonable, and I ended up with a set of inner spash shields for the 86 Vert for $20

However I ended up with a mis-hap on the way back to my in-laws house Sat night. At the last light, I decided to get on it a bit and ended up screwing up something:

Good thing I was less than a 1/4 mile away from the house

So this one is back out of commission for at least a month until I can get some time to run a compression test.....

Anyone want a nice package deal on a pair of Turbo's

I'll even throw in that John Deer....

Oh well, it isn't an adventure unless there are issues. And I got to ride back from PA to MA in style (borrowed the father-in-law's caddy).

that black one is 85RS's car. He a member here and lives in NYC in Staten Island. He's on here regularly. Super sweet car I saw it last yr as he was pulling away. Love the birds, and that FEP tent is like a permanent fixture at Carlisle.

Yup, I talked to him a bit late on Sat, but I couldn't remember his name / screen name. That car is soooo sexy with the top down driving by on the highway. I really wish I had my camera in the passenger seat

Sorry to hear about the bad luck with the SVO on the way home, hope it's nothing major.

No problem! And yes, I agree about the 83-86 T-birds and Turbocoupes. Especially when you look back at "Awesome Bill from Dawsonville" and his speed setting record at Daytona in an aero styled Bird....

No problem - evidentially it's part of the drill with this car.... It was still fun none the less. I was there for a total of about 7 hrs and there was still so much more that I probably should have walked around and looked at....
