Arrow 86 headlight mounting question

OK, so I thought I did a good job taking pics of my tear down. I'm in the process of smoothing out the engine bay and for the life of me cant remember if the headlights connect to the upper radiator support via a bracket? Or are they fully supported by the bumper cover.

I should have mentioned this is what I'm thinking about doing (I know I cant change the bulbs).

This is the area I'm talking about (not my car):
There is a L bracket that is bolted to the plastic bumper reinforcement that is also bolted to one of those holes in the area you circled.

I'll have another manual up in a few days that has a better exploded/detailed view of that area.
