well i have no comment on your choice of style

but those are different then stock mirrors so your gonna have to do drilling, and they wont match up with the trim either.

I am contemplating vert mirrors that mount on the door for the Capri Project.

Well yeah I would make new mounting plates where the stock mirrors go. I wouldn't use the long mounting piece shown.

Or you could just use Escort mirrors--exactly the same thing as the convertible mirrors (that is what I have on mine). If you go to a salvage yard looking for a convertible Mustang, they usually just kinda laugh at you, but the 'scorts are easy to find. I believe that I gave like $80.00 for my power Escort mirrors.

Those look very familiar, what may I have seen them on? Would you paint them black? Might not look too shaby.

i have 87+ doors/mirrors on my car. i think they look a lot better (on my car) and they are just a bit bigger, and more usable to me.

Yeah I would paint them black so they wouldn't stand out too much. Kind of a subtle look. I'm doing a "military" theme on the car so I think they will fit nicely.
