Default my 79 Fairmont Turbo

The turbo Kit is finally done on my little 79 Fairmont. Thanks to M&H performance. Its a MP GT45R on a 1996 GT40P Headed explorer motor with anderson blower cam. here isa cool video we made last week.
The guy driving is my friend at M&H performance Brian Keller. They have the outlaw 10.5 Turbo Fairmont.Him and his brother Doug are awesome builders and fabricators.
Can't wait to get this car finished and get it tuned and to the track.

Sweet!!! What did that build cost? I am thinking something similar for my 86.

turbo kit was about $3000.I bought the parts seperate and My friends put it together.Of course I got alot more than that in it as I had to switch transmissions. But it seems to be well worth it.We will see in the next few months.Hopefully this summer will be a blast with this setup.

Well hope to have it ready to take to track in a few weeks. Its up and running but we have to work out some issues. We took it to the dyno wednesday and it basically would not make boost to load the dyno.It will on the street but not the dyno it was on.
made 242 RWHP with only 2.4 pounds of boost at like 4200rpm.has 8 pound spring in wastegate and got it to go a little 8# on the transbrake but when tried to spin dyno would only do 2.4#So figure it should make between 450-500 hp when makin boost.
Gonna get through swap meet next weekend and change my PMS to a Fast system and do away with the mass air meter and tune it with laptop and go to track and test it.No more dyno for me I will let the track be my dyno. The way I got this setup its a fun street car and True Street car.I want it to run low 11's or high 10's drive it all the time and have a FUN!!! 2007 season.I don't care if it makes 300 horsepower or 800 hp on paper, as long as it runs what I want I will be Happy!!!

Are those Crown Vic wheels? Didn't think they'd fit a Fox since they use RWD offset. Sweet ride!

No those wheels are off 1994-95 base V6 mustangs that took hubcaps.I had the 2 fronts cut down professionally to 5 inches wide and used chrome wexplorer centecaps and explorer lugnuts. They clear the long wheel studs in front and back perfectly.
