The 2nd Annual SmokinStangs Laconia Mustang Rally is Scheduled for Friday September 7 through Sunday September 9 this year.

We revised the schedule for 2012 and added a Drag Racing Portion. We also changed the Venue for the 2nd Annual Car Show on Sunday.

Saturday 9/8/12:

12:00pm-5:00 pm SSL Cruise-In / Show Your Ride NHMS – Lot S1

12:00pm-5:00pm Autocross NHMS – Lot S1

5:30pm Staging in 4 Generations 3 Laps NHMS - Gate

6:00pm SMOKIN - 3 Laps Event NHMS – Speedway

We recommend Pre-Registration to the 2nd Annual SmokinStangs Laconia Car Show as we plan to limit the judged portion of the show to 500 cars this year.

The SmokinStangs Laconia - 2012 Northeast Mustang Rally is excited to incorporate Drag Racing, as well as a Burnout Contest into this years 2nd Annual Event.
This will take place on Friday evening, Sept. 7, 2012 at NED - New England Dragway & Motorsports Park in Epping, NH from 5pm-10pm.

The shootout & burnout competition is open to all Ford Mustangs, any/all Ford Powered Vehicles, as well as Specialty Vehicles. The shootout will basically consist of bracket style http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bracket_racing racing. NED will be running their standard "Street Night" format that same evening.

Trophy's will be awarded for both the Shootout and Burnout Competitions, as well as photo's of the winners of each taken in the NE Dragway Winners Circle.

Be sure to get in on the action...for a SMOKIN good time!!

I plan to be up there all weekend. Would be nice if we could all get together one morning and do a cruise around the perimeter of the lake,it would take about an hour and a half(maybe more depending on sight seeing stops). Just a thought

Yes. The meet n greet on Friday is at Weirs Beach on Winni.

This year should be Big...those that came last year had a blast and this year is improved.

I like to take Route 106 from Concord to Laconia. Nice drive, also goes by NH Speedway.

The epping drags are fifteen minutes from my house. MAYBE i can get mine running on time, even though I would be ecstatic to get a high 14 second time slip.

I'll definitely be hitting this event. My 81 and my bros 86gt are both back on the road. NEDW and Saturday are a lock. Might not be able to get Sunday off for the car show.

Mark, we'll be there (probably the same crew as last year plus some). The hotel is booked so we will be there. I will be carless as it will be under the knife, I just got to find a way to get a mustang to borrow to take around the Speedway, LOL. That was way cool last year.
