    Default 1986 Saleen #109

NOT mine... A few noticeable things, but overall a VERY nice car.

1986 Saleen Mustang #109 out of 201 produced in 1986. This is a very original Saleen with the original engine and complete drivetrain. This car is very close to the way it rolled out of the factory with no additional modifications. I have recently treated it to a $14,000 paint job on a rust free body. I purchased new ground effects and all new decals directly from Saleen. The car also has the original headlight covers but I could not get myself to put holes in the car to add the covers. I have many pictures documenting the work completed. The interior is completely original down to the optional Kenwood stereo and Escort radar detector. The car retains its original wheels and center caps but the tires have been replaced. The suspension is original and the underside is very clean for a 33 year old car. I does have an aftermarket cat back exhaust. I have a spare set of replica 17” Saleen wheels and tires that can be added with the sale for the right price. As you can see from the pictures this car is immaculate and will not disappoint. If you know how rare and special this car is you’ll understand the price is reasonable. My price is $27,500 OBO. You will not find another one this nice for sale anywhere, this is the last year for the four eyed fox body and the first for fuel injection. Please call or text 816-Six45-Four07Six

    NICE!

I’ve been noticing there’s not much new to market foxbodies of any year. This one looks minty nice.

It is nice, but for that price, it should have the correct wing.

The ad states it does include the original wheels but will cost extra for some replicas to be included.

That's a nice car, but a lot of coin. I suppose I'm just stuck in the past and past prices....

The car looks great and other than some of the incorrect parts and a few other things its an awesome Saleen.

You can easily spend $14k on a show quality paint job and the black on this does look very nice in the photos, but I have to wonder why the need or desire to spend $14K on paint and yet leave the underside so poorly detailed or even cleaned. Just my .02 that for that kind of coin the car is going to need a lot more attention to detail. I could be wrong and it just might sell for the asking price or close to, but I will be surprised if it does. Good Luck to the seller.

My friend just paid allot less then that for his "mint" black 86. His a perfect original paint 17K mile car.
