doesn't look too bad from the pics. A good cleaning, bit of reapir, cut polish and repaint the black trim and it should be good to go
and take off those stickers. They lower the value and hosepower.

Where did you find that one? I've only seen two 85-86's running around this area in the last 3 years. There is a pace car in Chanhassen, too.
Nice find!!

How the heck can a person put Honda Racing on a Ford? Geez. Great project!
That car is complete junk. Tell you what, I'll come take it off your hands free of charge.
Just kidding. It's a great starting point.
Car looks good. It needs a bit of elbow grease but nothing that a full Saturday can't cure. Oh and get rid of the stickers...holy cow!! If youre going 5 lug then a set of bullits would look awsome. Good luck
I had seen it listed before on the Rochester CL but never acted on it then, decided the this last time i seen it on there to at least go talk to the guy, and i just ended up working out a trade.
The rest looks good too besides the surface rust, heck the driver seat hasn't even busted through the floor LOL
If u can figure that out then we'll both know LOL
First the big pull to the car was the 4I being a fuelie and second its in better shape than most of the crap u see around here for more money. And the Red Interior helps just to Rile Up all the Haters!!!
I can honestly say unless i got heck of a deal on a set of bullitts i would never own them otherwise. i just cant get into em IDK why. No offense bullitt lovers to each there own!!! LOL

Very nice, glad you saved it.
Looks like they used to have smoked taillight and headlight covers on it and some people should not be allowed access to stickers...ever.
Good luck on your new baby.

I am looking forward to seeing your progress on the 86.
Hey man! A heat gun or blow dryer and some alchohol works wonders on stickers and tint.

Ya i hope so maybe i can even do some of my own body work and paint work if i ever get a place to do it LOL
Ya me too the 82 is my main focus so far, but i did go home after i wrecked my electric water pump and scrap the honda stickers off and even the ford racing one on the windshield, IMO the motorsport logo is so much better lookin LOL
