    Default Valve Cover Stickers..

Just wondering, what do these stickers from "Powered By Ford" valve covers indicate? One looks like no holes are punched and the other you can see which ones are. Anyone know what all the diff. numbers mean and also possibly what year these are from?

I'm having these re-painted as they are not cracked or anything, but want some opinion, should I take them off or tape them off!>!>!???

(even though they are in great shape, I don't think these are something I can take off with heat and keep in-tact...)

    Thanks!

I have been able to keep mine alive by taping over them when repainting the valve cover. After 30 years they are not in great condition but to me they are a part of the car worth preserving. If mine get too far gone I suspect someone with the right tools and skills could reproduce them.
