That is a very sexy machine! Years ago, a co-worker of mine bought one of those brand new. He picked an Emerald Green with Tan interior one and I LOVED that color combo. I don't think I've seen another Green one to this day.

Also, do not be so quick to judge someone's comments as being derogatory. It is often difficult to interpret someone's intentions having only text and no body language or tone of voice to guide you.

Still not sure what happened exactly I got the car a year ago Sep spent the winter redoing it. I took my oldest dauhter out for a ride and all of a sudden real bad noises from the engine. I thought it was either a pushrod or a connecting rod. I ot it back to town about 9 miles dropped the girl of and headed to my mechanics. I was pretty sure what happened but wanted someone to tell me different. I started it for him and within like 2 seconds he is yelling for me to shut it off. Threw a rod most likely from a spun bearing. I was pretty pissed about it it wasn't even broken in yet but it might now have been MPS that caused the problem. The guy I got the car from put it in and who knows what kind of mechanic he was (I got the car off ebay) I am fairly certain it was a piece of ____ he only paid like 1200 for the whole long block wasn't exactly top of the line. On the bright side I am just about to start pulling the engine and doing the bay up. I have a 351 waiting in the garage for it and a nice twin turbo setup (those might be sold however) some new heads and other goodies. Hopefully I'll be on the road early summer.

P.S. Ken I love your car keep up the good work and its nice to see you back on the boards

Boomer, I LOVE your '82 GT! Man, I haven't seen one of those in stock like condition in close to 15 years. The ones I see are all modded. It takes me back in time.

This is by far my favorite picture so far. Still had the temp tags and no upper wing, but the lighting and reflections just turned out PERFECT.

The car will soon have an upper wing again - the one off Kyle's old white SVO - and will be lowered with different wheels.

Nice picts everyone. That grey one with the Fiske wheels was in an issue of 5.0 or MM&FF a few years ago. Not only does it look killer, I think he had like $50g's into it. Fiske wheels (for some applications) can run around 2g's. Here is a pict of the motor but, if anyone has any other info or what site to find that car on, I'd love to read up on it again. I agree, its one of the best 4 eyed Foxes out there.
