    Default 85 SSP SVO Coupe

Remember a little while back one of our members talked about making an SVO coupe....well somebody beat him to it, and they used an SSP to start with. It looks like the body is in good shape, but I hope it makes it back to its original SSP trim sometime soon. I love the supercharger though:

I like the hair dryer add in conjunction with the blow through carb...kinda nostalgic. The front end...not so much...just the difference in body moldings would drive me crazy!

Not working for me. Maybe if it had the right trim between the wheel well openings, 86 style quarter windows etc., no spotlights, and SVO rocker mouldings it wouldn't look "dumpy".

No I was going to build an 86 coupe with a GT front cover and fog lights, but all SVO 2.3 Turbo running gear and some SVO interior trim. Although that might be on hold indefinitely with the pending sale of my house and purchasing a new one. Heading out right now to move more cars and load up more stuff to go to the new storage units.

Not sure the extant to which this car was modified with SVO stuff but it might be worth the look to have a CSP!

You could sell off the SVO parts and return it to stock fairly easy.
1984 Mustang GT owned since 1991 (first car). Mercury Mountaineer GT-40P engine, some suspension mods, currently undergoing a five lug SN95 brake upgrade and more suspension mods. Some minor body and interior mods have been done as well.

    2004 GT convertible, 2001 Taurus LX, 1994 F150, 1950 F-1 Ford Pickup

On the 85s, FoxChassis pulled AutoCheck Reports on likely CSP cars identified in our SSP VIN Project, and found:
    - DSO #76-0115 with up to 7 possible VINs (FF206191 - FF206197)
    - DSO #76-0310 with up to 8 possible VINs (FF235050 - FF235057)

For the 86s, it looks like there may have only been one order that year by the CSP:
    - DSO #76-0039 with up to 20 possible VINs (GF247072 - GF247091)

Marti Reports could be ordered on the first and last VIN in each batch to see if the DSO numbers match (thus confirming the VIN range for that DSO), but that would cost $90 for 6 reports, and we have no additional documentation at this time (like a special equipment parts list) to confirm the entire block of VINs as CSP cars.

That would certainly help offset the restoration cost for someone so inclined!

Another one, possibly two 1986 VINs, that might be CSP, but not confirmed:
