    Default Finally Got the 86 GT Home, Today!!!

    She needs some tlc But we can fix that for sure!!!

    doesn't look too bad from the pics. A good cleaning, bit of reapir, cut polish and repaint the black trim and it should be good to go

    and take off those stickers. They lower the value and hosepower.

    Yeah i agree all stickers will be removed except the ford oval in the back window and i am not lookin forward to scrapin that tint off the back window either. I will start workin on her after the 82 is on the road, i should have an update on that tomorrow hopefully we got everything we need to fire her up tomorrow (i will make a vid with my camera when we get her runnin)

    I agree looks like a really good start.

    Hey that Honda Racing sticker has got to add at least 15hp

    Where did you find that one? I've only seen two 85-86's running around this area in the last 3 years. There is a pace car in Chanhassen, too.

    Looks nice its the right color and the perfect steering wheel . Hows the rest of the body (I saw the hatch had some rust).

    Car looks good. It needs a bit of elbow grease but nothing that a full Saturday can't cure. Oh and get rid of the stickers...holy cow!! If youre going 5 lug then a set of bullits would look awsome. Good luck

    I had seen it listed before on the Rochester CL but never acted on it then, decided the this last time i seen it on there to at least go talk to the guy, and i just ended up working out a trade.

    The rest looks good too besides the surface rust, heck the driver seat hasn't even busted through the floor LOL

    First the big pull to the car was the 4I being a fuelie and second its in better shape than most of the crap u see around here for more money. And the Red Interior helps just to Rile Up all the Haters!!!

    I can honestly say unless i got heck of a deal on a set of bullitts i would never own them otherwise. i just cant get into em IDK why. No offense bullitt lovers to each there own!!! LOL

    Very nice, glad you saved it.

    Looks like they used to have smoked taillight and headlight covers on it and some people should not be allowed access to stickers...ever.

    Yeah, thanks! He thought he had the smoked covers for the rear but he couldnt find them. The smoked headlight covers are in the hatch, but i need a new bracket for the front who the heck knows were u get one of them LOL

    That stang next to the jeep is my old 2k "Spring Edition" vert i sold to my dad, it is all completely stock except the tires heres a better pic. I sold it cuz i didnt wanna mod it cuz its the only "Spring Edition" i have ever seen in person and i have only seen a couple on the net, i hear they are a rare steed around here

    Hey man! A heat gun or blow dryer and some alchohol works wonders on stickers and tint.

    Ya me too the 82 is my main focus so far, but i did go home after i wrecked my electric water pump and scrap the honda stickers off and even the ford racing one on the windshield, IMO the motorsport logo is so much better lookin LOL
