Default Who was in the White 4I Mustang in MA at 44 and 495 at 7AM???

Saw you on my way from Charlotte to Plymouth. With all you 4I guys in MA, I have to believe it is either somebody on this board or somebody knows the car!

It was a 79-82 I believe based on the nose and white with black trim. It was backing into a spot next to some kind of roadside garage.

Mike, that was me! You should have stopped by for a quick 5 minute chat! How long are you going to be in Plymouth?

Thanks, but if you saw it up close, you'd definitely be able to tell that this one is a beater. I was up early because I worked for my uncle today. I don't usually work Sundays but I want to save up some money for the Fun Ford Weekend that's coming up in August.

If you're going to be in Plymouth next Saturday night, stop on by the Cruise Night at Wal-Mart, which is right off of Route 44 (Cherry Street exit). If the weather is nice, I should be there with my Cobra and my brother should be there with his '85 GT. Also, Tuesday night, there's a show in Bourne (about 20 minutes away from downtown Plymouth). It's at the Upper Cape Regional Vocational School which is right over the Bourne Bridge. I know that you're on vacation and didn't come up here to see cars but if you have the time, we'd love to meet you.

Yep, that's the address. Jeff, you'd probably come down route 495 to exit 6 (Route 44). Once on Route 44, you'd follow that into Plymouth and take the Cherry Street Exit. You'll see Wal-Mart from Route 44. If the weather's nice, I'll be there around 5:30 - 6:00.

Pauls 82 is out of commision for a bit. One of the lower control arms is shot...real shot. No bushing left. Plus his new(ish) exhaust is rubbing on a control arm...so there are a few bugs to work out.

    EDIT:

DAMMIT PAUL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just threw out my stock control arms!!!! We could have band aided you!

I will be in Falmouth on Friday for the fireworks. Then heading to Sandwich this Saturday to visit the in-laws. This would be the perfect reason to get myself away for awhile.

I would be up for this Walmart show too.

I may even have to ask Mike to sign my passenger dash bezel...Not every day you get to meet the guru of the capri world.

OH STOP! I ain't no GURU! Just a big enthusiast!

I will put it on the list. We have so many things going on, that I can never promise anything but it would be fun to get to a car show again.

I used to go to the one over at Cortage park when I was younger. I don't remember if the Walmart was there yet or not. After a bit they moved over to Cherry Street.

Jeff, when you get off of Route 44 and take the exit, take a right at the end of the exit. Follow down to the 1st set of lights and take a left. As you take the left, there will be a HUGE parking lot with nothing in it (it's a "Park & Ride" for commuters during the week. There's a Wendy's restaurant on the opposite corner. This parking lot is right across the street from the Wal-Mart entrance. How about meeting there at 5:30 or so?

Mike, Cortage park was one of the best cruise nights in southern Mass years ago. They ended up building a Wall Mart at Cortage years ago. They have since closed down that Wall Mart and Built a New Super Duper Wall Mart at Colony Place on The new Rte 44. Formally the Cherry St. exit off of Rte 3 Exit (7). I plan on being there and Hope to meet you. Same goes out to the rest of you guys.

Ya know what guys? I just thought of something very important.....There's a lot of town's that are having their fireworks displays on Saturday night. What about Plymouth? Will the car show still be on? If so, I'll go. However, I'll have to leave by 7:30 at the latest so that I can be home by 8:00 and then meet up with my wife and daughters for the display. We're not sure if we're going to Wareham's or Bourne's. I'll check to see what's going on and I'll get back to you all.
