Yeah.... I was going to post a thread last night; but someone else was hogging my computer until oh-dark-thirty.....
Right at the opening of the show; they displayed the vehicle type & motor combo info. It was on that list that it said,"'79 Capri". Secondly, the kid with the Capri had the very desireable GT non-cruise steering wheel on it. Lastly, the kid with the Capri brought a knife to a gun fight & had no negotiating skills to speak of......
'89 5.0 5-speed 'vert, seeing rust for the 1st time in it's life as well as 4,500+ elevation....
The Kid with the Capri wasn't supposed to be negotiating...the dude with the shades was taking care of that.
No problem bringing a knife to a gun fight if the shooter can't aim...and the other guy said something about that.

It was replayed yesterday. They announced it as a 79 mercury capri. It had the fenders,hood and aero nose on it with a 302/C-4 with arround 300Hp.
loved the combo kinda like mine if only they had left the damn nose and front fenders on it if u atleast a foureyed stang nose would have been ok
