Colorado State Patrol is running the 2024 Mustangs too, unfortunately I didn't get a picture. My buddy in law enforcement said that they are just regular GT's not SSP versions, but they are the only V8 high performance option for high speed left at this point for police departments to purchase.

Georgia state patrol has a few, as well as a few current gen Camaros. They've had the Chargers forever, so nice to see them using the Mustangs.

Anyone know if they have traditional 'SSP' upgrades? I'd think the calibrated speedos would really be the only thing needed today with what a strong package they have now.

My buddy who is a detective with Round Rock PD in Texas and is the group of officers that test and review possible new options for vehicles, told me that the Mustangs are just standard GT models with either the 6 speed manual or 10 speed automatic. No upgrades or changes based upon the information he has seen. Doesn't appear that there is any SSP designation, changes, or improvements over the stock GT cars. With there being essentially no competition there's little incentive for Ford to add costs to the Mustang right now.
