Was locally owned and have seen it at the FWHQ shows.

Went to a local cars and coffee this last weekend and somebody pointed out that one of my brackets was a hair away from falling off.

Sure enough, the tape had started peeling back on one of the passenger side brackets. I'm assuming this is from driving on the highway for the ~10-15 minutes to get to the location, since they looked good before I left.

So much for the industrial strength 3M tape eh?

I peeled it off when I got back home and cut/placed some fresh double sided tape to reinstall. The bracket didn't peel the paint off the bucket or any other horror stories noted here, just left a little bit of residue that was cleaned up.

I think the moral of the story is to uninstall them and tuck them in the sunroof bag in the back before driving on the highway from here on out.
