    Thanks for sharing.

It breaks down color and trim but that doesn't seem to be or may not be related to Black Magics. I would have thought there would be less white Black Magics than 424/1727. Cool regardless.

I never saw this before yet either: ORDER TYPE: COMPANY LEASE PLAN. Staff purchase?

Thanks for sharing. I prefer the "albino" Black Magics myself, white and gold look great together. Would love to understand the back story of "Company Lease."

    Enjoy!

The YA trim code was only used on Black Magics (inc. 9D White ones). So, this Capri is one of 424 built in 1982 of 1727 Black Magic models which includes both the Black and White painted Capri's. Here's my Marti Report for comparison purposes.

In 1982 and 1983, YA trim was optional in the Capri L.
In 1982, TA trim (black Recaro seating) was optional in the Black Magic.
In 1983, HA trim (black Sport seating) was optional in the Black Magic.

That'd be 621 in 1981. And that FoxChassis guy, he knows too much, shot me down in flames with my YA trim comment being only Black Magics. Gotta love that guy!

Joe, the Capri is just doing fine after a few hiccups with the dizzy. Easy fixed, I bought a reco'd one from RockAuto, had it here within 8 days and only cost me $175AUD landed, at my door. It would have cost up to twice that to have my old one rebuilt. Off to a big annual Historic Race meeting at Phillip Island this weekend to once again show her off to the masses. (www.phillipislandcircuit.com.au) Sadly, I lost a good mate a few weeks back, Glenn, who was just 56 years old. He helped me quite a lot with the 2V head conversion and he'll be sadly missed by all of us in the local Capri Car Club here in Melbourne.
