Just joined the site today, down in Lethbridge.
Cool. It would be interesting to put together an Alberta tour this summer.
I am just south of Edmonton, although my car won't be ready to cruise till next summer (hopefully). She just went in to get some new floor pans welded in! Just a question for any other of the Edmonton people, have you guys ever dealt with White Stallion Innovations from Sherwood Park? They have a lot of used parts listed on Kijiji and was just wondering people's experiences?
Black 1983GT - First car I ever owned
Purchased the car in 1999 and sold it in 2003 to pay for college
Re-acquired in 2014 and currently undergoing a resto-mod
I'm in Sherwood Park and would be down for a cruise.
Neil @ White Stallion seems like a good guy, I've bought a few parts from him. I've checked out a few of his projects and his work seems really solid.
If anyone wants to check out "The Blainer" 4.2 82 GT lemme know.
Sounds good, might have to stop by his shop and have a look

I've subscribed to this thread. Cruising would be fun. I wonder if White Stalion does subframe connecters?
I imagine he would but I know he's not into paint or body work and he's just one guy and usually has a lot of cars lined up for work. I'm planning to bust out the mig and put some sfc's on my 79 this summer. Been a while since I've welded but how hard could it be?
I just completed a welding course at NAIT. Easy. I was thinking of putting mine on myself but the thought of my car up on Jack stands, me on a creeper doing a whole bunch of out of position welding makes me a bit afraid..........
BTW. Just talked to White Stallion today. $500.00 to put my MM full lengths on. He says he makes sure the car is not twisted, welds them in, then paints and under oats them.

Hey Bruce what welding course did you take? Was it the autobody welding course? I was thinking about taking it as I am a total newb when it comes to welding

It was through NAIT. Evening classes. It was a great course. Well worth the money. We ended up welding better than the welding students because we had WAY more practice time.
