I believe the fuel pump monitor wire your asking about is pink with a black stripe. should come out of the black body side connector. the webpage says it connects from pin 19 on the computer to the power out of the FP relay. Sounds like your really close. Hope to hear ya got it fired soon.

I tried to shovel some of the snow out from around my car today, as there seems to be a mysterious engine growl every time i walk past the car . I can tell it wants to come out. ended up breaking a shovel. the snow drift has turned into a large block of ice. It's also on the north side of my house, so it's in the shade and hasn't had the suns help to melt it out. I'll have to remember that for next winter. looks like at least another week.

Having a hard time with the harness now car don't wanna start. Bought a Pmas mass air for it. The "conversion" connector that changes it from the 05 connector to the fox connector has two grey wires hanging I am not sure if those are causing it not to start or what. But I am really close to ripping it out and putting a carb on it! And info would be great thanks guys

    According to the PMAS website:

    *Requires 05+ Ford maf connector
    *Requires computer tuning
*Can be used on any 0-5V maf system with computer tuning
*Transfer function generating software tool available for FREE download

If the problem only started after the install, then I would guess the PMAS is the issue. It sounds as if you need to complete the wiring first to make sure that isn't the issue. After that, I would guess after that any additional issues would be related to the computer tuning.

    Here is the wiring diagram.

No it's been doing this. Try to start then doesn't. The 05 connector came with it. But there's two grey wires that are not hooked up.

If the conversion harness was prewired from PMAS then most likely you are fine, otherwise I would verify if those wires are needed.

In regards to the starting is the issue fuel or ignition related? What is the condition of your cap, rotor, wires, and plugs? I would double check all the small things and regular maintenance items first before ripping the EFI off for a carburetor. Narrow down what the starting issue is and with that the repairs will be much quicker. Things such as clogged fuel filters, weak TFI modules, worn out cap/rotor, etc. all can lead to issues that can really drive you crazy.

    Good Luck!
