Ok, caught a break. Left JT's with the SVO and shot down into CT to pickup dinner. Coming back, police have the road closed due to an accident. We stop and I watch the temp gauge start going up in the 95 degree heat. So, I flick the switch to turn on the fan. NADA. Get home, and find that one of the wires I had spliced had come undone. Soldered it up, and good to go. The fan controllers in these cars are notorious. Could have been a bad scene if I get stuck in any traffic tomorrow going to or from the BBQ!
Car is almost ready. Need to cap off an A/C line and fuel her up.

Thanks a lot, guys - you left me high and dry. I told you I'd be back at 4:30, went and checked into the hotel, and I when I got back to the park, everyone was gone. And the only info I have on the location of the Beach Hut is "on the other side of Babylon". Whoopee. So instead of going to the Beach Hut, I'm toughing it out here at the hotel and in a few minutes will be floating around in the pool.
If you have a GPS it's Cedar Beach in Babylon.

Roc, I meant to give you written directions prior, and then unfortunately didn't see you. My apologies, I hope you enjoyed some poolside relaxation though.
I hope everyone had a good time today. Again, you guys have made this event shine and the weathermen (as usual) didn't give a correct forecast. Lots of cars, and a good variety, I will post up a pics thread soon.
Great time today, boys! Thanks Ed for putting on a great event, as usual. Car ran great, and it was great to see and talk to everyone. I'll get some pics posted up later tonight. Made it back to Southwick in time to take my daughter to the fireman's parade. Beat the rain home. It POURED during the parade!
4 SVO's. 2 9L, a 1B, and a 7B!
(Esco, someone stole your bi-wing!!!)
Oh, and this showed up: Like bringing a knife to a gunfight.
Nice guy, though, and the TA was really clean.
I'll post more later.

Thankfully the weather held out and the BBQ was a good time once again. Thanks Ed for putting together another BBQ.
Really appreciate that kind comment considering this event is planned and organized mainly by myself with a little help from others. Actually it was I who screwed up in this instance as Roc told me but it slipped my mind as I was doing 2000 other things. I owned the mistake as you see above. You know what they say about assumptions....
I never thought you'd be the first guy to ever be put on the exclude list, but congrats!!
