Not a problem i will try to do it today but i think they are in the attic so it may be in the morning. By the way i am running vert doors on my 86 with t top glass and it took a lot of fitting to make it work right. It is almost like they are diffrent i am currently looking for a set of rust free hard top door to replace them because i don't like the fitment. I had to space the top hinge out with washers to make it work.

What part doesn't fit, just hinge/body line, or the glass at weather stripping points? In other words could a donor framed door with insides of vert door be made to work? Vert doors turn up locally but are usually rusted, t top doors seem to be a fortune and hundreds of miles away.

I am not real sure why it did not want to fit but it was the alignment of the latch side that was off i think the door may be tweaked i am going to pickup a new hard top door in the morning and then cut the frame off and make it work.

    Default almost did t-tops too

I called C&C in the 80's to inquire about a retrofit. C&C was about 10 miles west of my house. Was going to have them do my 79. .
They said "drop car off for couple days". Cost= around 1400.00
Darn-was my only car to get to work..plus lose the cool map light?
    Forget it. No way.

Seen the car haulers with mustangs from the DAP, going to get their convertible tops.
Best i remember, they had temporary hard shell tops en route to CC.

Have also installed a Ford chassis stiffening kit. Came with 1/4" rivets.
Harbor Freight sells the 98898-1VGA HD rivet gun for <100.00. A fun DIY tool.
For all sizes up to 1/4". Quickly sets a nice tight rivet effortlessly as advertised.
Pays for itself if doing repairs and bodywork, especially like 100+ rivets.
It is a little complicated to change over from small to large rivets-no big deal.

    Default still got the light?

That's what CC told me. Was thinking too, the mounting plate should fit in the middle rib somehow.
Added one in a 86 ranger i once owned.
Must be cool having both t's and that handy and unique map/dome light.
