Stan the last six of the vin is 618896 I bought it in Milwaukee Wisconson as far as I know the car spent it's whole life there the guy I bought it from purchased it in 1994 from his boss at the time who I was told was the origanal owner and it is a Eurocoupe I don't know how you number them as I was told there are no numbers.

I'm not sure either. The numbers listed with the euro coupes I believe we're numbered by sequence. The particular numbers are not on the cars.

We now have info on 48 of the 1986 Asc/Mclaren coupes. Out of 161 total. Closing in on a third of the cars.

Stan I have seen people advertise they have like # 19 eurocoupe where they are getting that info I do not know unless they took the origanal list from ascmclaren.org and are just counting down but were they in sequintial order or not I do not know. I know mine was built at McLaren and not at Northtowne Lincoln Mercury as 26 were. I believe there were 9 white ones built at McLaren and 14 over all for some reason it seems I always see white ones. I bought some parts from Kendal in Alabama and he has one I guess that is sold that he is holding for someone that from what we disussed is a twin to mine same options and all. I know there is a lot of grey area with these cars!!! as mine has stuff that they say were not even available on the Eurocoupes even as options. This car still has origanal shocks and struts and they are carrera stuff it is also lower than most so I am assuming it has the springs as well. I have they interior from the full production coupe leather wheel shift knob and all but no stickers on exterior at all not even on the back just a black tag that says ASC McLaren on it. the smoked quarter glass as well as headlight and taillight covers also to the right of the center console there are holes drilled on the bottom that something was screwed into I am assuming it was where the radar detector would have been. We are going to disassemble the car this winter and pull and go through the engine I am curious about the cam as this seems to have alot of the full production coupe stuff.

Not that it helps, but Sandy had told me that my euro was the second to last one built. (maybe the last, I don't remember. That was back in 1997)

I just added 003 and it turns out white 007 has just popped up on Facebook possibly for sale but needs a full resto. Although interior looks good in the pictures. This is as of April 10,2014. Let me know if someone here ends up with it. I believe it's in Michigan.

i am in Southwest Missouri, I am currently restoring in completely. Engine, trans, rear-end, suspension has all been rebuilt. Working on body now. I do not see any number, not sure there is one being that it is a euro coupe. not many of the options on this one. rear spoiler and decals was about all that was on it.

I remember seeing that one for sale. Glad to see it being restored. You are right, the euro coupes didn't have numbers. Keep us posted on the progress.
