86 ASC Coupe registry

A member on another site told me there is a black with orange mclaren coupe owned by a guy 4 or 5 towns over from me. He has 5 or 6 very nice Ford products. If this is true its a one of one car. Hope to run into it at some point.

I believe this black one is actually dark blue. Its the one on ebay. I talked to him a couple nights ago and its an 85. He has two 85s and 86 eurocoupe.

I'll see what I have in the database. I know I scanned all of the four eye Capri VINs but I only know if they're an asc if somebody tells me they are. Except of the course the "1MH" VINs.

Mick, I thought I did when I got it. or meant to. No prob. Just tell me what to send. Can you tell my gear ratio from the build sheet I posted?

What I'm looking for is all of the data from the door tag, buck tag, build sheet, owner card....basically everything in my sigature. Pictures are better than typed out codes. Don't know if you have been collecting any of that info, or just the VIN and the asc #. I'd like the asc numbers too.

You may have more data since you last sent me stuff so it's always good to have the latest updates.

Yeah, I can tell you the gear ratio by the "Axle Tag Number" on the build sheet, but it won't be until later tonight.

That matches the M code on your door tag.

Wil just found a metallic red Asc coupe on Craigslist in Maryland. Another big project. I can't believe how poorly these cars have been treated over the years. It's number 29.

Chris, it's not right. Mustang front bumper and someone changed out the gut to red.

I know they didn't build them in red, but I was curious how it turned out. But if it's got a mustang nose, that doesn't help me visual much unfortunately. I've always though a Bright Red '86 ASC McLaren with black or silver stripes and corresponding wheels would have looked cool. Like I said, might have to build a phantom car someday.
