    Default '90 2.3 usefulness?

Is a '90 N/A 2.3 useful for turbo applications? Did they have a "good" factory head on them? Or anything else? It's the last year of the 4 plug distributor engine, if that means anything.

I'm just asking because I happen to have one in rebuildable condition in a parts car, and I won't scrap it if it has potential. (I could use another Ford engine in my backyard )

Head can be reworked to have similar chambers to the turbo head. Pistons can be changed out to more turbo friendly ones. The fact that they are N/A they "may" be less likely to be cracked in the places that turbo heads crack.
