Ok, finally finished up the seat project. Here are the original seats from back when I bought the car many moons ago:

I've been using a set of later aero seats up until this point:

While I had the seats out, I replaced all of the seat belt sleeves:

And here is the final result:

I never saw this thread before Joe and just spent some time going through it! Nice work yet again! I think the seats look great now even though the areo ones weren't too bad to me! Did you get new foam also and was the leather work custom or were these available to order? Either way, it's a whole new car on the inside now too!

Thanks Esco, it actually feels like driving an entirely different car.

Thanks - this is the TMI kit (bought from FMR) and I re-used the original seat foam. I did have to fix the drivers side seat back (typical gangsta lean) and I added some additional wire support to the seat back to help out out the old foam....

Finished up my steering wheel re-cover. Nothing wrong with the original steering wheel, but I like the feel of a thicker wheel. So I bought an inexpensive steering wheel cover from ebay and put it on my self. I had to add a thin layer of foam padding under the cover for it to fit properly. I think it turned out pretty good. I'll put it back on the car tomorrow:

Here is what the kit looks like (pics from ebay ad):

This is the 2nd steering wheel I've used these kits on. I recovered a wheel in my former white SVO. That one I did with the wheel still in the car.

This one I decided it would be easier to do with the wheel removed. Removing the wheel helped a ton. BTW - the cover only cost $4.99 shipped to my door.....
