I'm going to be in the market for one as well. However I have been thinking I might make my own and do something unique.

I'm not really sure what brand/make it is because it came on the car when I bought it last year. It looks nice & fits & works perfectly.

do these use any rubber isolators, or does it just snug up the radiator to the top of the radiator support?

I used an 87 rad support polished stainless, 2 stainless polished radiator brackets and a new GT fender badge.

I like that a lot. I wouldn't mind getting one of those for my notch. Looks good Mike.

Here is one that UPR makes. It's $34.99. That don't seem too crazy.

I know some companies offer a larger version and a small version. If I were you I would run the large version. I at least wanted to give you a heads up that there are two versions.

saw that there is one version that completely covers the top of the core. i don't think that version will work for me as the way the fans are mounted they come to the top of the core. i think i'd need to use the version thats been posted.. the one that seems to grab just the top of the front of the core. unless theres even more that havn't been posted yet.

My plan is that when I make mine it will not only be a radiator hold down, but it will also be a complete filer panel for infront of the radiator support. It will extend all the way to the front bumper cover and go from fender to fender to clean up that area under the hood. Then I will have it anodized black. I won't be easy, but I think the results will be well worth the effort.

I use only the Steeda hold downs on my cars

I use to have the full hold down on the 82 but switched it out.

I was looking at the Steeda ones earlier. Your pics of it Joe sold me on that one. I think I'd spend a little more and buy the Steeda one.

Yeah, they looked thin. Steeda should use your pics in their ads!

You can't really tell the quality from the pics in their online catalog.
