    so does anyone know if the tranny on the I6 is the same size as the one on the I4?
    1980 Ford Mustang hatch back and sunroof, 4 speed manual, possibly cracked block.

    Holy crap I didn't even know Ford offered a vinyl top option. White top with white interior, very interesting. That interior is in fabulous shape considering the age. I bet it will clean up nicely. It's funny, I was looking at the interior thinking, man it's like a time capsule in there. Great score and looking forward to the progress pics. I'm subsricribing. ...

    Why is '79 the only year for that trunk lid? What's different?

    The 79 lid is flat, no raised area towards the back.
