Reading it again, I see "GT". Must be a clone...
For Sale: 1983 Mustang GT/Saleen. Vehicle restored and refurbished to new. 4,500 miles in the past 12 years. Adult driven to local car shows only. 5.0, 5 speed, A/C, Pwr Brakes, Saleen 16" rims, T-Tops, Custom interior, powder coated engine accessories. Very few older, rustfree Fox bodies around. No dissapointments. Can be seen this Saturday at the Fantasy of Flight - Mustang car show.

Yep, the prototype was an 84 as mentioned above and is owned by Stu Akers in Indiana. 3 total in 84 were built and Stu owns all 3

The prototype was one of the three '84 cars. I believe it was owned by Steve's sister before he modified it.

Even if you play along with the owner's rediculous claim, the ground effects and wing are not period correct for a four-eyed.
