Default 1986 Mustang GT Speedometer Upgrade

I own a 1986 Mustang GT. It has a stock instrument housing with stock gauges. I would like to upgrade the 85 mph speedometer to a 140 mph speedometer. I would also like to have white face gauges. Can anyone give me some direction with this?

    Thanks - Todd

    Welcome to the site...

They do 85 to 140 speedo conversions and white faced gauge overlays too.

if you cant find a 140mph speedo (not everyone was as lucky as me and score one for $50 shipped lol) have them do the calibration to yours and they will install the over lay for you..probably have to email them about it or buy the option when you buy the overlays on there site

the one i have, they pulled the green plastic out, it glows blue. way too blue for me.

i dont know what he did then, when the car is off the needle is completely vertical facing down, but it seams to move the correct amount when driving. just off by 20-30 mph on the display.
