Default My new black magic what do you think?

I bought a 1982 black magic 5.0, t-top, 5 speed, power windows, air, cruise, 93,000 miles. Completely original paint, interior, motor. 95% rust free! new tires, brakes, tune up. $1500!!! This guy had no idea! Unbelievable!!! It even has the t-top bags, owners manual. What do you guys think this is realy worth? I will post pics soon. Any info would be apperciated, thanks.

$1500? That's dirt cheap. You got really lucky. I'll guess that it's worth $3200. And, If you start modifying it, I'll curse you for all eternity!

The funny thing about this find it was there for a month. Some friends of mine told me it was an old black and gold mustang. I thought it was a 70s stang so I never looked at it. One day I past buy and saw it, had to have it! But in this area there is all kinds of rare finds. Ive found many rare things cars, boats, rvs, ect. My plans are to keep it stock.

Very nice. It's great to see BMs on the road. I'm glad to hear your planning on keeping it stock. If mine was in the same shape as yours, I'd leave it stock also. As it is, I will keep it true to the look and feel that makes it a BM.

So I was cleaning it out yesterday and I found some cool stuff. Under the back seat was 2 computer print off sheets with what options are on the car. The owners vin card, and in the trunk was the spare, jack, tire iron, and in the tire iron bag was factory locking lug nuts and key never opened!

The print out you found is the build sheet for the car. If you have not done it yet, post a copy of your Buck Tag (somewhere around the radiator support), VC label (door tag) and the build sheet in Production Numbers and Decoding forum.

FoxChassis can decode the info for you and is also building a database on our 4-eye cars. Include all the information you can find like tinted windows, premium sound, interior light package etc.

As you work on your car and are crawling under it, try getting the rear end tag as well.
