and a year goes by !! the guy that owns these has em on hold.. he's doing a movie with The Coen Brothers..
I had my recaros redone last year, not in the original material, but in vinyl and sued. The headrest mesh linked in the first page when dyed black matches the old mesh almost perfectly.

Although this thread is a little old it really came in handy as I'm recovering my pace car seats. Thanks for posting it wingsnaprop. TCM makes replacement foam and seat covers for the 79 pace car in case you're wondering. Late Model Resto sells the parts. The foam is a perfect fit and the covers are as close as you will come for now. One suggestion, if your halo foam is in good shape soak the halos in hot water until it softens up and you can peel the halo foam right of the frame without cutting it. After replacing the netting, simply reverse the process and reinstall the headrests in the seat back. Still looking for the right netting. How'd your seats turn out?
