    Default Clutch Pedal Problem...

Hey I took off my clutch pedal from the pedal assembly and can't seem to get it back on in the correct position. It seems as though I can only get the pedal on the square peg at the base of the stud in one position, and when the cable is hooked to the clutch fork the pedal is all the way up, way above where the brake pedal sits. Is there an adjustment I can make to the clutch fork after the pedal and cable are attached in order for the pedal to sit where I want? Anyone else ever have this problem after removing the clutch pedal alone?

OK I figured out now that I can push up the little ratchet deal and move the pedal to where I want it, however when I let go of the pedal in the position I want it, the pedal has just enough pressure to come all the way back up on me. Now, I know I can move the pedal to where I need it, but how do I get it to stay there? Anything helps. Thanks.

It's normal for the clutch pedal to sit higher than the brake pedal. How much higher is it?

It's way higher. I would guess it's about 3 inches higher than the brake pedal. Too high to drive comfortably.
