I kind of doubt you're going to get that for $500. LOL
I don't believe you could get it for $5,000.
I don't even think $10,000 would be enough.
Somewhere in the neighborhood of $15,000 you might be getting closer.
I'll have to put it on my watch list just to see if it sells and for how much.

408/T5/3.73's
We're not fast racers, we're more what's known as half fast racers.
Its a penny plus $5000 shipping anywhere in the US.
Cleveland based heads??? Yates heads have been around FOREVER. They are arse expensive. Guy that lives down the road from me has been using them for like 20 years on his race car, also a 351W block. They are like the gold standard for hi-po Ford heads.
Didn't somebody on here tell me that guy is a crook? I was looking for 87-93 11" brakes. Same junkyard or am I thinking of someone else??
Anyway, good luck, but I bet that reserve is higher than giraffe p*ssy

Update - 2023 - Looking to buy 81 Mustang, 82/85/86 Mustang GT, and 79 - 86 Capri (No Sunroof). Not looking for all original/show cars or convertibles - I will be modifying. Would be nice if both were - Black Interior, PW, PL, AC, No - or very little rust. Motor/Trans/Axle not important. Options negotiable with price.
according to eBay his record is spotless
yes, but eBay has changed. That's not a lifetime rating anymore, it rolls over now. I've had negative feedback on me (raw deal - never sell for friend of friends) but my eBay rating is 100% positive.

True, in the respect that the valve layout is similar, but there are major differences in the coolant passages and intake/exhaust runner design, if memory serves.
You could liken it to saying most modern cylinder head designs are based on the "Hemi" heads first used by Chrysler on the 352 Hemi. (I know "Hemi" heads existed before, but Chrysler made them famous)
