Production number of 1980 Capri RS Turbo

I have a 1980 Capri RS Turbo. The VIN says it was manufactured on May 1980. It says it was the 5477th built.
Does this mean the 5477th Capri built or RS Turbo built?
When was the last day of production of the Capris?

Vehicles are not manufactured/built in order of their CUN/PSN (last six digits in the VIN). That number is the order in which the VIN was assigned.

Yours was the 5,477th 1980 Capri assigned a VIN for that assembly plant. (There were two assembly plants in '80 -- Dearborn Assembly and San Jose Assembly.)
