    Default 93 Cobra Wheels...

I found a set on Craigs list for $500. What do you think of that price and will they fit my 86 GT Vert?

    Thanks,

If they are original for the 93 Cobra then you'll need to use wheel spacers. If they are aftermarket then they should fit no problem. I'd love to get a set. Sweet looking rims IMO.

What are the actual differences on the 93 Cobra's front? I know the rear offset is different than a drumbrake Fox, but the fronts have to compensate. Is it just the rotor/spindle, or do they have different a-arms?

You can get them new for a little over $100/ea that are for 79-93 Mustangs. Not sure if the real Cobras are different offset or not.

I just bought a real set last weekend for $400. The guy sold them because they looked goofy on his wife's aero notch because of the offset. But I already have the correct width turbo coupe disc rearend (which actually has the same brakes as the 93 cobra) and i'm swapping to 87-up spindles on which I am going to install the 93 cobra rotors with the 3/4" thicker hats to correct the front to match.

Tons of info here in a thread I started about the same thing:

There is a guy on corral selling some 93 OEM cobra wheels with the spacers to make them work for $500 total.

I like the idea of the aftermarket ones that are 8.5" wide and have the correct offset. The OEM's are only 7" wide.

I think the hub on the rotor was .75" taller for the Cobra.
