Got the word today that this car has sold to a collector that is attempting to own at least one of each of the Twisters sold. Has an original Twister Mustang, a Twister Torino, a Twister II Mustang, and a R&A Twister Special... Only thing left to add now is a 1 of 4 Twister Ranchero!! Hope someday I get to see his collection in person!

This was prolly the T2 that was in my driveway for about a year. Rough? Rough is a kind word for the condition this one was in. It had 3 30/30 bullet holes in it a pick axe hole on the roof 1 ttop. Both rear qtr panels trashed. Underbody rotted and the list goes on along with a dead snake in the pass kick panel. You were looking at a min 10k body work. I did not own this car mind you. Stored it here for a buddy who bought it off ebay for 150 buks. He decided to give it away and that was the owner who sent it to the crusher. Way back in 2001 I went to a Stang show at the Amierstar Casino and snaged a photo of a T2. A few years later I was at a show and saw a white 85T2 a pic of that one is on gt.org website. Here is a pic of that 85 back in 01.

I am confused with your picture. I assume its of this 26000 mile twister and not the one described sitting in your driveway??

I would love to have a T2. I grew up in Kansas, and to have a mustang with a kansas connection would be fun. Almost had one last year, but it was bought out from under me by another member on this forum.

Yes, it was a 5psd, w/ 2.73:1. One of 15 2R T-roof hatchbacks with that drivetrain. Also had A/C, cruise, electronic search radio, defrost, PL, PW. It had been in an accident (left rear collision). Unit # 112261.

The pic I posted was one I saw at a Show back in 2001. The one I had in my driveway with the tan interior was in 2004 or 2005. Let me do some diggin and see if I can find pics of that one.

I would guess the one you saw at the show back in 2001 is the 26000 mile one that I started this thread about. It looks just like it. It was owned by a guy who lives in Kearney Mo. He recently sold it to another collector as I stated above.

Did you ever get my messages asking you about some of your prior Dominator posts?

Steve: Which of the five (2R/T-roof sold @ Summit Ford) is this 26,0000 mile unit? Does the VIN end in 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8?

I am thinking it ends in 6, based upon carfax. Owner never gave me VIN. But it was the Carfax that lead me to contact people in Kearney Mo about the car.

Owner did confirm car was originally purchased from Summit.

Do you have detailed info on the 10 sold at Summit Ford , or just the VINs, or ?

I have detailed info (VC Labels and or Buck Tags) on five T2s, just none from the 10 sold at Summit Ford.

At the moment I can only find these 2 pics. These were taken with a Sony Mavica on floppy. If I can find the floppy's I took the rest of them "HOPEFULLY" the data is still ava on them. This was the fall of 2004.

Thanks. So this now eliminates another of the 10 not being a Dominator. Do we know the VIN of this one?
