Default 86GT AOD to T5 wiring issues

    Hi all!
I have been searching for some answers on this website but need more. I have a 1986 Mustang GT EFI 5.0 that was converted from AOD to a T5 manual before I bought it. I know it was converted because the clutch saftey switch was not installed (it started in gear) and the transmission tunnel hump did not have the second hump that manual tranny cars have. It currently has the VJ1 speed density computer. I am trying to sort out the wiring so that the car will function like it would from the factory as a 1986 GT 5.0 t-5. This car also does not have cruise control. I believe all the wiring in the car is stock.
I spliced the clutch saftey switch in series with the red/green wire coming from the front engine harness near the pedals. I found a T-5 harness (believe 87+ harness) but it contains the vehicle speed sensor (needed for cruise control?). It also has the backup and neutral gear switch. Do I need the vehicle speed sensor? I also don't know what to do with the neutral gear switch. I cannot find the neutral gear switch mentioned anywhere in the 1986 mustang EVTM. I also read about O2 sensor wiring harness being specific to manual or auto cars and the computer. Is this true of the 86 too?
Sorry for the long post but I would like to get the wiring up to factory specs so the car will function as it was intended and be able to pull codes.
Thank you all for the help.
