Default Is this a Mexican Mustang?

Being relatively new here, I had no idea there were so many different Mustangs. I've been reading all the posts (the GT350 Dominator has been my fav so far!), but when I came across this section, it reminded me of the Mustang I saw on craigslist a few days ago. It's still available in Dallas and it looks a lot like what you've been describing. it also has an interior I've never seen in a Mustang, including a solid seat (not 50/50 split) in the back. Here's the link:

Any thoughts? It this just a Mustang that someone just added the rear end to it? It's interesting either way.

Sure is a Mexican Mustang. That car used to be Tan, it's been listed in the FYI's every so often.

79-83 Mustangs had a solid upper rear seat. Didn't get the split rear upper seats until 84.

Yes it is. I have pictures from when it was the original color. The car was very original.

I hope the previous owner falls in multiple septic tanks.

My first hatch was an 86. My 83's were a coupe and a convertible. I think I like thes solid upper better.

All the more reason to get an 83 hatch!

Its price on craigslist dropped to $5900. Still ridiculous.
