    Another vote for Optima. I'm running 3 red tops and a yellow. Haven't had any problems yet. 2 of them I bought, and 2 red tops I got for "free" from work. I work at a parts store and they were warranty returns. Going to recycle them but I convinced the boss to let me take em home.
    I've been told sometimes even new optima's won't hold a charge. So I put them both on a SLOW 2 amp charge over about 2 days. Both showed FULL capacity and barely twitched on a load tester. That was months ago.
    I believe that most people try and put a 10 amp or more charge on them right away, and it just doesn't do anything. Same with boosting.

    Just sharing my experience here. My Yellow Top (That I paid for!) is more than 4 years old. Still workin great!

    Haha yea I forgot to comment about that....we often get to -25 FARENHEIT here. That's the great white north for ya. Yes all my foxes are parked for the winter.
