'84 LTD v8 car

I Found an 84 LTD V8 car, it used be an detectives car.
I have not seen it yet but i am told is in good shape and very little rust.
It needs a radiator and alt. It does run. I have a spare rad and alt somewhere.

I'm going next week to look at it and make an offer.
Lets say it has OK paint, OK interior , solid body, and runs and drives good. I can paint and I have friends that do interior work.
What would be an reasonable offer?

Just looking for something to drive to work besides my Bronco.
