Yeah I have seen several Mexican Mustang's in several different configurations with Mixed Capri parts and Mustang parts. Starting to wonder if they were smoking their lunch at the factory ROFL

Is it correct that the '83 had the Capri front clip, while the '84 had the Mustang front? (I must have had them switched in my head when I posed my earlier question.)

That looks good. Looks like someone P-shopped a big version of the mexican mustang wheels on it. I think stock they came with 15" versions of those 4-hole wheels Maybe even 14". Pretty dang cool either way.

Yes I do believe that is true, I saw a picture of an 83 might have been an 82 and it had the Capri front clip and Mustang fenders with a flat back hatch with with a spoiler.

Are those EXP/LN7 wheels? If so, those are seriously small tires. Doesn't look bad from the side though.

i actually really like this car, i think the combination of the stance and the flared fender makes this thing look pretty sweet. i even like the bubble hatch, and that is something i have never been fond of.

+1 the lines flow better. it doesn't look so blocky at the front and round at the back.. it all just flows together.

    Default HEY THATīS MY STANG!!

hey what`s up!! This is my mustang Iīm from Mexico City, wow I noticed that my stang caused so much doubts, well it`s an 84 mustang with the 79 cobra front, I swiched `cause there was a crash, that`s why the front doesīn fit with the apropiate year.

The story about rare mexican mustang is this... in thouse years there was a law that denied the entrance of some american products, so the ford motor company mexico mixed the parts of mustang and capri that already produce in mexico, and to avoid some of the regulations, so the mexican mustang appeared.

I don't know why that would piss people off. That is a really cool looking car. I mean, it came from the factory with a Mustang nose and Capri ass, so it's not like he modified the factory "flavor" of the car. It's just been "seasoned" to his taste. It just has a 79 nose on it now, well that and some other cool mods.

THEO, what a stance that thing has. What rims do you have on it now? Awesome car!!

Yeah, I love the car. Something different which is alway refreshing.

I also love those wheels on the car. The wheels themselves are weird and not great looking, but thats what makes them look awesome on the car. Hard to explain, but I'm a designer, so I have some weird quirks like that. LOL

I was gonna mention that we should just wait cause that was a fairly new members ride but he done responded. As far as Angering purists I don't see why it would...... It's still a 4 eye..... It has a nose on it and that nose is a Mustang Nose.... and it's driving.... much better than being ditched cause its nose got mashed in my opinion

    I agree!

But sometimes I think some people here would rather see a car go to waste rather then fix it up (even if it is a different nose), which I think is absolutely ridiculous. I don't run this site and make the rules so my opinion is all I have.

Anyway you shake it, its still a great looking car, and different. Plus we got another member.
