Default Post pics of your lowered Mustang or Capri

Please post pics of your lowered Fox Mustang or Capri and describe your suspension setup. I want to make adjustments to my car and I'm looking for the perfect stance. I'm currently digging this Saleen:

It looks like about a 2" drop. Right now, I'm running 1.25 drop in the front and 2" drop in the rear. I want to drop the front a little more or raise the rear to level it out. Before that, I had cut stock springs riding at about 2.5" lower and it was just too much. My exhaust system has the scars to prove it!

Here is a couple of my 1985 GT, when I had it. 2" lowering springs, SN95 PBR brake conversion with 17x8" wheels:

Yeah man...that looks good...I think that's it. 2" drop is just right for me. But, that means less than ideal handling without adding correction for bumpsteer and suspension travel. I've already got offset rack bushings now but the longer tie rod ends and cc plates would be better. I also already have the shortened pinion snubber in back.

I had the Steeda bumpsteer kit on that one, with offset rack bushings, and BBK caster/camber plates. It tracked straight as an arrow. I had Jamex shocks/struts, and surprisingly, it wasn't washboard handling. The car cornered phenomenally, and it handled well, but it wasn't harsh. WAY better than the KYB GR2's ever were.

I ordered 2" lowering springs for my Capri, they will be here Friday. So far, that's all I have for it, suspension wise. I'll probably order a set of the Jamex shocks/struts for it, if I can still get them.

I remember the European Jamex products from years ago. Seemed like good, quality parts. But, I can no longer find their Mustang parts for sale in the states. Where are you getting your springs from??

Yea, that's the issue I've been running into. Those were Jamex springs AND struts/shocks on that 85. I ordered some off-brand from Evilbay for the Capri. $90 shipped. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=170389980073

    Always like this shot.

I put in 2" inch lowering springs, but it didn't seem to be as low as it should have been for 2" drop springs. So I removed the isolators at all four corners, cut one coil out at all four corners, and I have weight jackers in the rear to bring it up just a little.

Beautiful. I ran without isolators, as well. I've never had an issue with noisy springs, exhaust is always louder than anything else

I have no idea of what the setup consists of though.

    Mine are:
    Suspension Techniques Sport Spring # 60090 (1")
Energy Suspension red front and rear isolators.

But I ended up cutting a ¼ coil of the fronts because I wasn't happy with it at first.

Looks good guys, keep 'em coming! I like the look of the fender lip right at the top of the tire with no gap. I think it'll take right at a 2" drop to achieve that.
