What sizes are the gauges and any more pics? I hate white face gauges and love the pro comp gauges but haven't seen any pics of those yet until now.

    I wish they'd make a 140mph speedometer. 120 aint enough, 160 is a tad too much...

From the pace car. These pics are actually mockups, so the tach is crooked because it isn't bolted in.

oops, my bad. I thought at first that was the factory bezel.

I was gonna make my own bezel, do something custom. I was actually thinking carbon fiber, like Tom's awesome Pace Car. Gawd I can't get over how sweet it is.

Yeah ummm that looks like crap. You should give your interior to me and start over.

Seriously, your cars interior is insanely nice. Where did you get those interior pieces from?

I used the stock gauge panel cover, dremeled out the smaller holes to accept a 2 1/16" gauge, and put on a backing plate for the 3 3/8" tach and speedometer gauges. The backing plate covers all the gauges, so it stiffens up the factory plastic very nicely. I'm working on LED's for the turn signals and High-Beam indicator. I've got Autometer Ultra-Lite gauges, with a 200mph digital speedometer. Yes, overkill, I had all these gauges in my 84 LS1/T56 swapped Z28.

I thought I had a pic, but I can't find it. I'll run over to the storage building tomorrow, and snap a couple quick pictures.

EDIT: Found a pic on my cell-phone, it's kinda blurry, but you get the idea:

The 5" tach and speedo would work better, they fill the holes nicely I mainly used what I had left from my Camaro after it got totalled. I need to order a new fuel level gauge, but other than that, I'm good. I'll go pull it out of the car and take some pictures of it either later today or tomorrow sometime.

Basically, all I did was take a dremel, and widen the small holes enough to slide a gauge into it, then put the plastic gauge clamp behind it. With the weight of the gauges, it felt the plastic would break, so when I went with the metal backing plate, I went ahead and made it large enough that all the gauges fit through it and clamped it to the plastic bezel. I think I still have the cardboard template I made to have the plate cut to size, as well.

As a matter of fact, I can use the stock unmodified plastic bezel from my 84 Capri to show the difference in hole size.

Its a 5" tach and speedo with 2 5/8 fuel, amp, oil and water. I'll check later but i'm not sure if I have any other pics (the PO did this not me so I dont have any pics before he did it). I love the gauges and everything but it was around $800 to do and I would have never done them cause of that.

The wheel is an Isotta wheel and as already covered, they are stock 79 door panels.

I made them. The gauge bezel started as an aluminum MC Machine peice and then I modified it from there.
