I had them redone, and back before the internet, you Couldn't find the original material. So a Lady redone them to look like the 85 Seats. She did front and rear for $300 back in the day, that was close to 15 Years ago. I have owned it cense Highschool. I painted it like 13 Years ago, well restored it top to bottom. Original V-8 car with auto and A/C, Now 5 Speed with no A/C. have been thinking Modular Motor for a while,

Oh, and Johnny, I got the 85 Saleen out today, Runs Like a top. Been sitting for almost a year, Cranked for a while, but Fired right up.

drilled out all the spot welds for the replacement part and began my test fitting here she is so far



my new efi harnness came in the mail it looks like it will make it all a snap. god bless ebay.

Great work on inner fender, its inspired me too look at my project for a couple of minutes later. If I start to see faces in my engine bay I hope they don't talk to me.

If the weather is nice, we could Both Ride up and check it out. Keep up the progress man. I am deep into the White 93 Cobra, AkA (WAS TEAL) got the Motor back. I plan to paint the engine bay this weekend, weather Permitting.

I wish I did that... That was my '03 Cobra when it had 2900 miles on it. Sort of a long story with that car, but that's what a floor pan is supposed to look like. It's my motivation for anything I work on now. I want the floor pan of my Pace Car and McLaren to eventually look like that.

That first pic of it up on the stands looking down the trans tunnel is exactly how my 84GT Turbo is viewed right now! Only real difference is mine is rusty! The next pic of the underside painted look sexy! I like your work, and judging by it this car went to a good and loving home!

I just found this thread now. Very nice project! I'll be watching this with much interest, as I LOVE Pace Cars.

By the way, I've always wondered what a Pace Car would look like in White/Black, complete with the entire graphics package and done to show quality specs. I'm sure it would look really cool. I posted this because I saw some comments earlier in the thread.
