Hey tom! Yea I wanted it a little lower too..
But I heated the springs (that's how we roll here) lol
And the place it was done they use their fingers vs fender
Measurement.. I'm gonna go back and lower a little more..
I have 4 new springs if I don't like the turnout..
Hey I've also bought 3 toy pacecars! One is a t-top jhonny lightning
And the other 2 are kidco pacecars!

Nothing wrong with the old hot rodderss way of lowering. Most of us have been there.

Great work so far. I dont think the rear needs lowered any more. I think they look great with a slight rake.

nobody noticed but it had hella foglamps and now i put marchals in!
got them at ebay for $78.50, one looks brand new but the other the glass
is pitted and you can tell the difference... i think the seller sprayed the old one on purpose.. in the description it said "one has overspray and a little cleaning will fix" lol
    clever sellers..
like always SORRY for all the crappy phone pics!

    Hey tom!

I have some issues with the tranny I pulled for the pacecar in florida,
I think I left most of the important parts! I don't see where the cable clamps
To on the pedals nor on the tranny.. The cable goes on the fork but then I
Can't figure out where the exterior part holds on to.. I'm gonna have to do some
Customizing here.. Lol, and I think I'm missing a bearing, not the throwout
Bearing but a bearing at the very end I guess for the shaft and flywheel..
Anyways that's why its been a little slow!
As soon as I'm finished with the little toyota for my gf I'm back on my pony!

Thanks tom! And thank you FEP members..

    We are with you.
    If you can:
Take some clear pics of areas in question, so we can see what you see.
    Then we go from there..

    SMALL UPDATE:
i installed the keyswitch because the P.O pulled it all out and had another one put by the
fuse box, i got it in the junkyard too.. it is so cool to finally hear that annoying buzzing sound!!

here are my concerns on swapping the mazda tranny with the new
87-93 2.3 mustang tranny and the new pedals...

here i think im missing the "pilot bearing" and might as well buy a new throwout bearing:

where do i attach the sleeve? and what does that thing below do?

cant find where the cable attaches.. the sleeve i know goes on the firewall

heres a pic of some of the things i got for less than 100 bucks in LKQ St. petersburg!!
there was a 50% off for a holiday i dont remember... memorial day or labor day..
but shipping to here was 200 dollars more!

also got the cowl grill, ash tray with cables, complete key switch with cables, exterior door steel belt trim both sides, door sills

EDIT: the hurst shifter not from junkyard!

hey guys! my friend google helped me and it turns out i dont have a clutch quadrant..
thats why i cant find where to attach the cable to the pedal!
will check out this week a junked fox here and if not will have to get a fancy one off
    the internet..

im still uncertain of the other things...
will edit this post if i do figure that stuff out..

    thanks guys!

    EDIT:
i feel pretty stupid but now i see the big picture... lol
the sleeve goes on the bellhousing and then the cable to that piece somehow
and the throwout fork links somehow to the piece...

when i find out the name of the "piece" will edit again!

heres the homemade linkage on the clable to clutch fork..
will know if it works when i mount everything! lol

well small sacrifice to have a nice pacecar!
right now im taking apart the pacecar to take it to the paint shop!!

UPDATE! We're down to the bare metal baby!!!
it had a few dings here and there but overall the body is really good...
only areas i had rust issues with was on the lower black painted areas on
the quarter panels, floor and sunroof... and i had all that fixed over a year ago..
i've been helping in the shop to make sure they dont snafu my car..
the painter isn't too happy to have me around but when i bare his favorite gifts
(a bottle of cheap rum and half marlboro reds) he gets real happy to see me... lol

    hey tom!
no i dont have the decals..
    heres my plan for now:
im gonna make the hood "mustang" decals, the "offical pace car" on the sides,
running horses on the sides and the wings on the quarter panels..

dont have the $400+ that they are worth right now,
but i WILL eventually buy them!

thanks guys for all your help and support!
