I am not sure if in that pic if he had the wider rear tires or not. I know he swapped them and then had some major rubbing issue.

    Totally AGREE.

Yep, name is Dave, super nice guy. Wish he came out with us more but is a busy man.

Some of those pics are mine that I took, not the graffiti one.

    Nice pics Jeff.
The Graffiti pic has been my wallpaper on my computer for about two months now. Such a beautiful car. Wish he was more active. He really built that car super nicely.

Just an FYI............................................... ..TireRack has 1 less set of Mach 1 wheels out of the 4 sets in Nevada.

    I wonder who bought them.

Not trying to steal the thread by anymeans, just curious...

That coupe sure is a nice FE!

What tire size did he move up to and experience rubbing issues? I've run a 275/50 in the back on a 5.5" b.s. wheel (fox axles) and still had 3/4" - 1" between the tailpipes and about 3/4" between the tightest part of the wheelwell and the tire with no BFH clearancing or modifications whatsoever.

Think those Mach 1 wheels are a 5.72" b.s.? I could see a large 275/40-17 with that backspacing rubbing in the corners or with maximum axle articulation, etc. A 1/4" spacer (with good wheel studs) would solve that though!

I'm pretty sure the Machs have the same back spacing as bullitts.

I agree with niGhTmare, silvers FTW. But chromies would look hot too.

My wheels arrived on Wednesday. Time to set the two toned coupe aside for a bit and do the 5 lug conversion on the T-top coupe.

I went with Cooper Zeon 2XS 255/40/17. So I won't have any rubbing issues in the front. Plus the wider tread will look great!

I am not sure. It is a complete kit with front rotors and rear drums and axles with all the seals and bearings. This kit might be the same as the one from LMR.
