there was one for sale in Canada. There rare and not often seen. If your looking for one good luck. I've only seen two up for sale. One in really really bad shape and the one in Canada. Thats all. Also if my memory serves me right it was a one year deal and it was 85 so that makes it even harder to find. Good LUCK

I've never heard of it, so a quick Google indicated that they were available in Canada only, basically a Marquis 5.0 version of the LTD LX. Cool black out grille design too.

Being this close to Canada, I suppose it's a possibility one could be around. BTW, I got the pic, thanks! I also googled them and seen a couple more pics, and I agree they have more of a sporty look than the LTD's, and they deserve to be painted black.

    Canada got some cool cars.

On the non-Ford front, I have a 1988 Nissan 300ZX 2+2 Turbo which was a non-US option (Canada, Germany, Australia only). In the US, if you wanted a turbo, it was 2-seat only.

Oddly enough, the Paul Newman 300ZXs were 2+2 Turbos that were brought through Canada. Apparently the slightly longer wheelbase and better weight distribution made enough difference to make it worth the trouble.

Canuckia only. Very rare from what I've seen. I'd love to have one.

Yep, canadian only cars. I've only seen one in person...in a junkyard in Calgary, Alberta. It was in PRISTINE shape. missing the grille though. Guys at the yard said the tranny went out of it and the owner gave up on it. I tried to buy the whole car right then, but they wouldn't sell it whole I peeled off the LTS badges and that was it. Car was grey.

so,then..it could be called the 'Marauder' of its day! Right? Cousin of the LTD, which evolved into the Crown Vic oh wait..wrong model line.

I can see it now...all the LTD/"baby LTD"/Crown Vic confusion...

haha, it would really throw a monkey wrench for sure for all those so called fanatics, haha. It would be really sweet though to find a basic marquis and do that.
