    Default Pics ya want...

Just so you don't think I've been slackin...

Some times ya gotta do this,

So ya gots more time for this.

    Driver's rear floor.

    Driver's front floor.

    Rodent Motel.

    Neighborhood all cleaned up.

Still have to run out the snakes.

    Passenger front floor.

    Passenger rear floor.

    Holy floor.

Does this look like an I6 kmember?

    Now to the good stuff.

The car does have some rust around the sunroof as well. It looks to be a prior repair gone wrong. I haven't had the chance to pull the headliner out yet so I don't know the extent of the damage.

I need to help my wife with the house so it may be a little bit before I can get back on it.

She's gonna be fightin for garage space though. Who should win?

I hear ya about the home stuff..I just ...well I still have a few bits to complete...finished a 9k home remodel after the water line to the ice maker in the fridge sprung a leak and ran under the vinyl floor. Hows the grill on the car and the plastic bits inside?

The grill is perfect. The plastic bits look to be ok as far as I've gotten into it so far with the exception of the lower dash. PO hacked it for a stereo.

My grill is MIA, and the interior was so rotted that the clips were broken or broke in removal...glade it's black though...should be an easy fix!

So far, It looks like I'll need to replace the dash, carpet and maybe the seats inside. Outside may need a new roof and a PO cut the hood to make it a functional scoop.
I gave it a bath yesterday and noticed some more dust on the hatch around the window and under the spoiler.

My plan is to attack the rust areas first then move onto the drive train and finish up with the interior. I doubt I'll go for a complete restoration but I definitely will keep the exterior and interior stock. Drive train/brakes are a different story. As of now i haven't ruled out anything other than a big block.

SWEET! I built a 351w, but sticking with Auto trans...toyed with tubing the rear, but after a few guys like bubblebackboy crying over those sorts of mods decided against it and plan to shove as much tire as possible under the car with factory holes. Picked up all the bits for a sn/95 5 lug conversion, so that should help. Right now in the middle of some custom sub-frame connectors (tons of welding). Plan to keep the exterior as stock as possible and the mod the crap out of the ret with an eye to its original interior. Not a big Fan of the original stripes of the cars, mine was modded and i tend to like the thinner stripes better...anyways. best of luck..

Not yet. I've acquired a roof and floors from an 87 mustang for it. Right now I'm working on fuel injection/AOD for my 83. I plan to get back her later this spring.

I know it's a bit late from when you posted those pics, but that is not an I6 k-member.

That was my thought. I'm not sure what it's out of. The PO had numerous cars he was playing with.

I've come to the conclusion the PO swapped the k-member out with one from a later fox. I compared it with the 87 GT k-member from my parts car and they look identical.

Well, it's been awhile since I've posted anything on this project. I had the last 3 days off, the weather was cooperating so here's what I accomplished.
